Barrick Gold To Become NuLegacy's Largest Shareholder
To friends, family and NuLegacy shareholders/stakeholders,
Hi Folks,
I think the headline says it all - Barrick Gold has entrusted the development of 'one of the best undeveloped gold projects in Nevada' to your company! This is the first of several significant announcements planned for 2016.
One of the significant features of these Carlin-type deposits (in both the Carlin & Cortez trends) is that once you've found one, they are like the Eveready battery, they keep going and going and going.
For example, deposits discovered in the last great exploration cycle of the late '80s to early '90s initially had resources of one to three million ounces. They grew to between five and 50 million ounces. [See link to Iceberg's potential, particularly slides # 9 to 12 & slide 18]
For further confirmation of this phenomena you might read Barrick's very comprehensive Feb 22, 2016 news release reporting on its "Project Study Results".
Cheers,
Albert
